1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. It does not hold official criminal records, retrieve files, conduct official checks, or submit documents for a visitor.

Its purpose is to identify custodians of Cedar County records, including the Sheriff, County Court, District Court, Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, and Nebraska Sex Offender Registry, and to connect visitors with outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Use automated scrapers, bots, or similar collection tools
• Threaten, stalk, or harass a person using information found here
• Interfere with performance or another visitor's access
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
• Rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
• Violate federal, Nebraska, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information found here or through a linked service may not be used to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may also violate the law. This rule is especially important for Nebraska Sex Offender Registry data. Nebraska's registry warnings forbid retaliation, threats, and vandalism against listed people, their families, or others. Registry access supports public safety awareness, not vigilantism or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provide a service designed for applicant screening, rental review, insurance pricing, or credit decisions. Information from this site or a linked tool must not be used to:

• Set insurance premiums or judge creditworthiness
• Screen a renter or housing applicant
• Make a hiring or termination decision
• Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government program
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A lawful regulated check must come through an authorized official route or a screening company that complies with the FCRA.
